Nate Urso Earns National All-Academic Honor

Nate Urso, a 2017 graduate, was named to the US Lacrosse National All-Academic Team for his achievements both on the field and in the classroom. Urso, a two- sport letterman in Football and Lacrosse, was a decorated athlete at James River.  He was a starting safety in the fall leading the Rapids to the play-offs.

Spring Tryout Information

The first day of spring tryouts will be February 20th. It is important to note that the 20th will not be a school day. Most of our teams will still be practicing that day. In order to tryout you will need the following (links are provided if you click on the items): 2016-17- VHSL Physical
