Led by Grace Townsend’s 26 points, James River downed Osbourn Park (Manassas) by a score of 53-39 Friday night in the opening round of the Class 6 State Championship! Boys and Girls Basketball teams advance to 6A semifinals

The top-seeded Girls team knocked off Franklin County last night, 72-28. The Rapids were led by Grace Townsend with 27 points. The girls will next face Landstown at home tomorrow night (2/28), 6pm, with a berth in the state tournament on the line. The Boys team beat Cosby last night, 74-56. Neal Hill led the way
