JRHS Winter Sports Tryouts are scheduled to begin on Monday, December 7th (Except Wrestling, Track and Field, and Swimming, which is scheduled to begin on December 14th)  If you are interested in trying out please make sure you have the following items on file with the Athletic Department:

An up-to- date completed VHSL Physical Examination Form packet dated after May 1, 2020.  Click Here for a blank form.

A completed Parent/Athlete Concussion Information Sheet.  Click Here for a blank form.

A completed VHSL Student Athlete Sportsmanship Expectation form.  Click Here for a blank form.

Due to Covid Restrictions, we will need to hold tryouts in groups (pods) that are smaller than a normal tryout.  Under “normal” conditions, all athletes would arrive at the same time for practice.


Swimmers:  We have not yet been given MAC practice times. 


Athletes must arrive 15 minutes prior to their tryout time in order to have Covid screening completed.  Arrive dressed and ready to try out (locker rooms will not be provided at this time).  Please bring a filled water bottle as the school can not provide water.

Athletes will enter through door 18 (by the outside trailers and outdoor basketball courts) ALL PAPERWORK must be turned in and Temperatures will be taken before entering the school!


Indoor Track athletes will report to the stadium December 14th
