Outdoor track will begin Monday February 24th – February 28th from 3:00 pm – 5:15 pm. Practice will be everyday and those interested should meet in the open commons right after school. We will be conditioning for the first week of practice. Those interested may come anytime throughout the first week without penalty. There will be Time Trials held the week of March 2nd to determine where athletes will best fit on the team (Sprinter, Jumper, Distance , Mid-Distance, Thrower). - You CANNOT tryout unless you have a physical form dated after May 1st 2019 along with a signed Concussion form turned in or on file with the school.
- You CANNOT tryout if you are not passing FIVE CLASSES for the 1ST SEMESTER GRADES.
- Athletes need to dress appropriately for the weather and wear appropriate athletic shoes for training. (FLAT BOTTOM SHOES SUCH AS VANS OR BASKETBALL SHOES CAN CAUSE INJURY)
- Bringing a water bottle is recommended.
